Radici InNova works closely with public and private research centres, universities, stakeholders, customers and suppliers to integrate multidisciplinary experiences and skills, in order to create new opportunities for collaboration on the development of innovative projects.

Circular economy
We promote projects that take into account the end of life of the product right from the earliest stages of its development. We choose raw materials with a low environmental impact and better recyclability, and formulations that consider the entire life cycle in terms of high durability and performance.

Chemical intermediates based on renewable sources
We develop industrial processes for the synthesis of bio-based chemical intermediates to be used as building blocks for the production of polymers from renewable sources, without competing with food and animal feed crops.

Sustainable polymers
We develop bio-based polyamides to meet the growing demand for sustainability from downstream industries such as the automotive and textile/clothing ones.

Research laboratories

The SC Laboratory Network
Our production units can count on laboratories that allow us to satisfy the needs of our customers. Apart from chemical analyses on standard products, our laboratories are equipped to carry out tests and trials on products in the development and experimental phases as well.
Chemical Laboratory SC: Novara, Italy
Our chemical analysis laboratory provides specialised services in the analysis of wastewater, polymers and chemical intermediates. We use advanced technologies to ensure accurate and reliable results, helping to monitor product quality. Our tests reflect the environmental and industrial regulations, offering customised solutions for every need.
Chemical Laboratory SC: Tröglitz, Germany
Our chemical analysis laboratory specialises in the characterisation of adipic acid, offering precise and reliable results thanks to the latest technologies. Our accurate tests determine the purity, composition and properties of the acid, ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. -
The HPP Laboratory Network
We have a network of laboratories located across all our production units, allowing us to meet our customers’ needs in a comprehensive and localized manner. In all HPP laboratories, it is possible to carry out the most appropriate validation tests on experimental materials during the development phase.
HPP Laboratory: Villa d'Ogna, Italy
At Villa d’Ogna, we manage the main R&D projects. We’re able to test the processability of the materials produced on pilot lines, conduct appropriate characterisations of the main rheological and mechanical chemical-physical properties, and also test the behaviour of the materials intended for the electric/electronics sector.
HPP Laboratory: Chignolo d'Isola, Italy
The Chignolo d’Isola Technology Laboratory is equipped to evaluate the processability of materials intended for the pipe extrusion sector (fluid transportation applications) or for the development of monofilaments for 3D printing. Fatigue and creep characterisation tests can also be conducted.
HPP Laboratory: Lüneburg, Germany
The German R&D team, on the other hand, is specialised in the study of the extrusion-compounding process, via software-assisted simulation activities. Lüneburg manages projects for the optimisation of process operating conditions that are valid for all BA HPP sites.
HPP APAC Laboratories: Suzhou, China and Halol, India
Among the laboratories located in the Asian continent, the one in Suzhou, China, is equipped with instruments for chemical analysis (GC/MS), morphological analysis (SEM), and thermo-mechanical testing (TMA). For applications in the automotive sector (interior – cabin, exterior – body), as well as for various outdoor uses, light exposure resistance tests (UV and visible) are also carried out.
HPP AME Laboratories: Wadsworth, United States; Ocotlán, Mexico and São Roque, Brazil
One of the key features of our laboratories in the American continent is the execution of long-term tests required for materials intended for the automotive sector, such as aging tests in hot air and tests involving contact with engine coolant fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels.
Over the years, innovation has been the key element that has distinguished us, allowing us to reach a variety of industries and provide the market with competitive and pioneering products and solutions.
