Polyamide-based engineering polymers: PA6, PA66, copolymers, long molecular chain polymers (PA610 and PA612), PPA and other special polyamides for high-temperature applications.
RadiciGroup’s Radilon® brand includes a wide selection of engineering polymers that can be used in various applications, from automotive to electrical/electronics, and industrial and consumer goods. The range also includes special products, including polyamides formulated to operate at high temperatures, special grades for metal replacement, and others that have specific characteristics such as superior chemical resistance and low water absorption.
Among the products for high temperature applications, Radilon® A HHR (PA66 base), Radilon® A X2N (electrically neutral PA66 base) and Radilon® S X2N (electrically neutral PA6 base) are of particular note. Among those particularly suitable for metal replacement are Radilon® A RW (PA66 base) and Radilon® S URV (PA6 base with high fluidity). When it comes to long molecular chain products, the range includes Radilon® D, a family of products based on PA610 with a partially bio-based content, and Radilon® DT based on PA612. These two product families are characterised by higher chemical resistance, better dimensional stability, and reduced water absorption.
RadiciGroup’s high-performance product range also includes Radilon® Aestus – a polymer belonging to the polyphthalamide family. These materials are ideal for special applications thanks to their exceptional thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance properties.
Amongst other things, Radilon® stands out for its high rigidity, mechanical strength and high impact resistance.
Radilon® is distinguished by its high levels of thermal resistance. For some special formulations, continuous use temperatures above 200°C are possible.
The Radilon® range includes many formulation variants, creating a wide choice to meet a wide range of varied and specific application requirements.
The Radilon® range includes products for both injection and extrusion moulding.
From automotive to electrical/electronics, our engineering polymers meet the specific needs of each sector and ensure uncompromising performance.
