Fashion Tales 2015: Spotlight on fashion and sustainability in Europe.
Fashion Tales 2015. Feeding the Imaginary, one of the most important academic conferences on fashion in Europe, is taking place in Milan, Italy, from 18 to 20 June.
This year, the theme of the event, in which RadiciGroup is taking part, is the sustainable revolution in fashion production, in keeping with the philosophy of Expo 2015 Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.
During these three days, the conference will host 31 countries, 15 topics, over 150 papers and 170 authors. The countries with the most participants will be the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, the United States, Australia and Brazil.
RadiciGroup is giving a talk on its experience during the round table “Change Makers: the Material Basis of Sustainable Fashion,” which will be held on the morning of 19 June (from 9.00 am to 11.30 am) and has as its starting point the consideration: sustainable fashion cannot exist without sustainable materials designed and manufactured by companies that have made environmental and social commitment a factor of competitiveness.
