Radici Plastics Mexico research a National Sales Manager
Radici Plastics Mexico is the Mexican Company of High-Performance Polymers Business Unit of RadiciGroup, one of the world’s leading producers of a wide range of chemical intermediates, polyamide polymers, engineering plastics, synthetic fibers, with approximately 3.000 employees, and a network of production and sales sites located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
The National Sales Mgr carries out many activities: work to achieve goals and objectives in line with global targets of the High-Performance Polymers Business Unit, and monitor the correct use of CRM by the Sales Team.
The candidate will report directly to the Country Manager of Mexico and functionally to the Global Sales Director.
Responsabilities:
- manage and coordinate Sales Team members
- manage directly some of the most important customers of the region
- monitor and develop new business opportunities (through the cooperation with R&D function)
- analyze the market in order to define a commercial strategy
- build and maintain customers relationships (face-to-face customer interaction)
- attendance at weekly/monthly sales meetings
- prepare/set sales forecasts and detailed reports
- supervise business activities to define sales budget
- discuss the annual sales budget with Country Manager and Global Sales Director
- verify and assure the correct maintenance of the CRM system (SIEBEL)
- work to improve the strategy of the company and work with the QA on updating/correcting procedures
- cooperate with other functions (CS, R&D, QEHS, Supply Chain, Production)
Technical Knowledge:
- sales knowledge: experience in direct negotiation with customers
- math skills in order to calculate margins, commissions, preparing formula-price and costing
- knowledge/experience of/in the market, preferably the plastic sector
- knowledge of SAP and familiarity and consistent use of CRM Module/Siebel
- knowledge of Windows programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Job requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
- at least 10 years of experience in sales
- at least 5 years of experience in managing a sales team
- work experience in a multinational Company
- english written and spoken is required for ordinary communication with the Global team
- analytical approach
