| RadiciGroup at Plast 2009 |
RadiciGroup is taking part in Plast 2009, an important European exhibition for the plastics and rubber industries. Plast 2009 is organized under the patronage of ASSOCOMAPLAST and the European Committee EUROMAP and will take place at the Milan fairgrounds in Rho (Milan), Italy, from 24 to 28 March 2009.
This triennial international trade show — to be held concurrently with IPACK-IMA, GRAFITALIA and CONVERFLEZ, dedicated to the packaging, printing and converting industries respectively — will be the largest European exhibition of machinery, equipment, moulds, raw materials and finished products for the plastics and rubber industries. Like all previous Plast events, this year’s fair is a must event for plastics sector operators, who will have a chance to get a complete overview of the most recent innovations in raw materials, finished products and machinery, not to mention services.
Plast 2009 will host a series of side events, such as technical and scientific congresses covering a variety of topics ranging from "Polymer Engineering: Education and Research for Tomorrow's Industry", to "Advanced Composite Materials: Recent Developments and Opportunities for the National Community", to "Plastic Materials for Packaging: News from the Research World". A show-within-a-show will also be organized to illustrate the all too often underestimated potential of products made using recycled plastics. The objective is to raise general awareness of environmental issues, which are in the forefront today more than ever.
At Plast 2009, RadiciGroup is showcasing its complete range of polyamide and polyester engineering plastics under the trademarks, Radilon® (Radilon®S, Radilon®A, Radilon®CS and Radilon®CA), Radiflam® (Radiflam®S, Radiflam®A and Radiflam®B) and Raditer® (Raditer®B and Raditer®E). It is also presenting Heraform® acetal copolymers and Heraflex® thermoplastic elastomers (Heraflex®A - Heraflex®E - Heraflex® B - Heraflex® P). RadiciGroup Plastics Area products are used for applications in the automotive, electrical/electronic, industrial and packaging sectors.
