Innovative by tradition, RadiciGroup was among the leaders in research and development during the 1960s, when it manufactured its first polyester and polyamide (PA 66) yarn and synthetic fabrics. This was the first step that led to the vertical integration of production processes.

1964 - The first plant of the RadiciGroup fibres area was set up as Radicifil SpA, based in Casnigo in the province of Bergamo, Italy. Today the company produces and sells PA 6, PA 66 and PP BCF; PA 66 and PA 6 high tenacity yarn; and PA 6 polymer.
