RadiciGroup: producing sustainable polyester for 40 years.

The Group takes part in Heimtextil (Hall 3.0, Stand E08), the trade fair specialising in home and contract textiles, with its companies Noyfil SA and Noyfil SpA

RadiciGroup is an established presence at Heimtextil, the international trade fair devoted to innovation in home, furnishings and accessory textiles: this year too, with its companies Noyfil SA (Switzerland) and Noyfil SpA (Italy), specialising in the production of continuous polyester yarns, the Group exhibits its own innovative and sustainable products (Hall 3.0, Stand E08) on the occasion of this important trade fair, which involves almost 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries and attracts an average 70,000 visitors to Frankfurt (Germany; www.heimtextil.messefrankfurt.com).

The RadiciGroup polyester yarns are sold under the trademarks Radyarn® and Starlight® (also in the versions r-Radyarn® and r-Starlight®, derived from post-consumer recycled polymer) and CornLeaf®, a yarn available in mass-dyed and bacteriostatic effect versions, made with polylactic acid-based natural bio-polymer.

The range includes products with Flame Retardant and UV Resistant properties and with ceramic and antibacterial additives, intended, as well as the furnishings and interior design sector, also for sports, outdoor activities and the automotive world.

The increasingly wide range of products is characterised by a “tailor-made” service of excellence, which enables Noyfil – certified according to the Oeko Tex® 100 Standard for over 20 years – to satisfy every demand of both customers and markets, ever more focused on product sustainability and environmental impact. In this regard, in 2016, Noyfil SA (Switzerland) achieved Certification of Environmental Management Systems according to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard, the important result of intensive teamwork, rewarding the efforts towards the continuous improvement of processes’ environmental performance and that serves as a badge of distinction for customers in terms of reliability, quality and care of the environment and local communities.

“Our adventure into the world of polyester – recalls Paolo Radici, member of the RadiciGroup BoD began indeed in Switzerland in 1976, when my father, Gianni, sensed that it was the right time to diversify production and strengthen our position as leading “upstream” producer in the synthetic fibre sector. In these 40 years, here at Radici, we have believed strongly in the polyester business and we have invested in numerous improvements of our plants, in order to take on market demands and ensure high performance in terms of production and quality, to the benefit of our customers. Clearly, however – Paolo Radici continues – it is not just new technology that determines the success of a company: I am convinced that, for us, the real difference has been made, and continues to be made, by the people, our employees. Thanks to their enthusiasm, their commitment and to their unlimited passion for their work, Noyfil, today, is an international competitive manufacturer, always close to its customers and capable of meeting each specific market demand in a timely manner.”
