From 20 to 24 May 2013, RadiciGroup will be in São Paulo, Brazil, at the Feiplastic international plastics trade fair, one of the major events in South America for the plastics industry.

At the exhibition, RadiciGroup will be represented by Radici Plastics Ltda, a Group company located in Araçariguama, São Paolo, and engaged for over fifteen years in the production and sale of engineering plastics: PA6, PA6.6 and PA6.10 (Radilon® - Radiflam®); PBT (Raditer®); TPE (Heraflex®) and POM (Heraform®). The Group is showcasing its most recent developments, focusing in particular on a few specialities:

  • PA6, PA6.6 and PBT flame-retardant engineering plastics for injection and extrusion moulding (Radiflam® S - Radiflam® A - Radiflam® B), designed to meet the requirements of the electrical and automotive sectors. The product range includes a line of halogen- and red phosphorus-free products endowed with exceptional electrical and mechanical properties.

  • Special polymers ideal for use as metal and thermosetting plastic replacements — from highly filled PA6 products that still retain high fluidity (RADILON® S URV line) to glass-fibre-filled PA6.6, exhibiting mechanical characteristics up to 20% better than standard materials with the same fill content (RADILON® A RV500RW 339 NER). The soon-to-be-introduced RadiciGroup Plastics long-fibre PA6 and PA6.6 thermoplastics, ideal for use as metal replacements for critical applications requiring the high impact, creep and fatigue resistance values that traditional engineering plastics cannot deliver.

  • PA6.6 engineering plastics (RADILON® A HHR [HIGH HEAT RESISTANT] line) with exceptional heat resistance to ageing in air, for use at continuous operating temperatures of up to 210°C.

  • PA6.10 engineering plastics (Radilon® D) for injection moulding and extrusion, made from polymer obtained partly from renewable sources. Today these materials are used in applications such as air pipes, fuel vapour lines and fuel line connectors.
