K 2013: RadiciGroup introduces new Radilon® XTreme

After Feiplastic in Brazil and MSV in the Czech Republic, RadiciGroup Plastics has arrived at K 2013, the most important world fair for the plastics and rubber industry. Among the Group’s latest developments showcased at K 2013: new Radilon® XTreme polyamide engineering plastics featuring enhanced heat resistance for hot-air applications at operating temperatures of up to 230°C.

RadiciGroup has expanded its portfolio of products featuring enhanced heat resistance. The new Radilon® XTreme HHR (High Heat Resistance) polyamide engineering plastics were developed through a synergistic collaboration between RadiciGroup Plastics and RadiciGroup Chemicals.

Indeed, the nylon polymer used for the new Radilon® XTreme line was developed and is produced by the Radici Chimica SpA polymerization plant in Italy. This project is an example of the vertically integrated polyamide production that is the hallmark of the Group.
